We had a gift certificate to Crate and Barrel that we had never used, so we just came home with a new Cuisanart Icecream Maker.
My wife is very health conscious and always substitutes Spleanda for sugar and Soy Milk for real milk. So we are planning to start making some helathy ice cream. We are trying to decide what flavor to make first.
Any ideas?
Anything special we know about using an ice cream maker? |

Here's a good link to start. It has a quite of bit of ice cream info from different kinds of icecream makers to recipes. Enjoy.

I absolutely adore Green Tea icecream!!!!!!
It's not overly sweet, soy milk works well with it, and real Ocha powder has anti-oxidant components in it.
Have you ever tried Green Tea Frappecino from Starbucks....? That's the milkshake version of it 8) . |

| I love icecream... never thought to make it at home... mom makes (and some friends) but it's just a combo of milk/yogurt/sour cream with bits of fruit and sugar which is put in cups and inside the freezer... :) |
