| Do you have a sweet tooth? I like sweets just as much as the next guy, but I'm pretty picky. I don't care for the stuff at the stores but I often have dinner parties and I eat the desserts I make then. When I travel, I have to try the local delicacies, so it's pretty much a free-for-all sugar fest then! |

You've gotta try the pastries in Paris then! Wow! |

I HAVE and I LOVED them!!!
My last indulgence was a pecan pie while in Seoul(no pecans this side of Japan!). My most decadent was baclava in Greece- a multi-layered phylo pastry with pistachios SOAKED in honey(a single slice weighed like 1/2 a pound!). Last year, when I went back, I tried the chocolate baclava, with fresh chocolate poured atop. Good thing I was going on a hike the next day, eh? |

I have my moments, though I have nowhere near the sweet tooth I had when I was younger.
I have been craving chocolate lately so from time to time, my sweet tooth kicks in. |

For anyone who has a sweet tooth, I higly recommend Max Brenner's Chocolate. It's an Israeli chain......like a chocolate version of Starbucks.
They do hot & cold drinks and desserts. Good enough for a lactose intolerant me to risk everything for it  ......
Not cheap, but simply to die for 8) .........! |

| I was absolutely CRAVING some chocolate yesterday so I made a huge batch of chocolate-chip cookies(with raisins!). One batch is like 100 cookies, so today I was busy distributing them among my students! |

| I make this awesome almond French vanilla pudding with a chocolate covered strawberry floating on top sprinkled with a little powdered sugar. Yummy rich elegant treat that will cure an extreme sweet tooth. People fight over that stuff. Terrific for Valentine's Day as well. :D |

| Hopefully, on Monday, my co-workers will be very happy again. Testing out a new recipe. Strawberry pudding cake. Really rich. Made with cream cheese, french vanilla pudding, whipped cream, strawberries and home made pound cake. :D |

That sounds goo, Peach. Umm, post the recipe, perhaps?
I was having a chocolate craving so I made a huge batch of chocolate chip cookies yesterday which I've been dividing among friends. Keep them all in the house & that's dangerous! |

Here you go..Although it's not the total recipe. Will keep a few secrets to myself. But, here's the framework. You can put your own stamp on it. :)
For the Cake:
1/2 pound (2 sticks) butter
3 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups all-purpose flour
6 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter and sugar and cream together. Add the sour cream and mix until incorporated. Sift the baking soda and flour together. Add to the creamed mixture alternating with eggs, beating each egg 1 at a time. Add the vanilla and pour the mixture into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake for 1 hour 20 minutes.
For the Pudding
2 cups evaporated milk
1 (5-ounce) box instant French vanilla pudding
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped with ?cup powdered sugar and a teaspoon of pure vanilla extract.
Pint of strawberries or desired fruit
In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Add desired fruit.
Assemble the with alternating layers of pudding and cake. Refrigerate until set. At least four hours. Enjoy! :) |

| That sounds great! I will definitely try it when I have the time! :D I'm assuming a homemade custard would work as well as a boxed pudding mix, wouldn't it? (I make everything from scratch) |
